Erica Roi Rivera won two bronze medal and a silver medal in playing arnis in the Division Meet last November 2017 in Tagkawayan, Quezon and compete as a participant in the Regional Schools’ Press Conference (RSPC) the same month in Batangas.

 

          Rivera is an SPJ student who is aiming to have high grades but she had been always excused in classes because she is at the same time an athlete and a writer competing the RSPC.

 

          There are times that she needed to be excused for a whole day especially when the competition is coming. She actually don’t know which to do first. Studying? Training for writing news? Or training for playing arnis.

 

          She became too busy that time and she didn’t even noticed that she already did all of those. In that quarter, she had also been awarded to be in the Writer’s List. “Ewan ko, basta nagawa ko nalang…”, she said.

 

          A true master of time management can do all, even he/she didn’t notice it. We also just need to be hard-working and to have faith in God to complete the recipe of success.
